The firm grew out of the enterprise banking and brokerage world and is now free to look for the best solutions available for clients irrespective of who offers it. In addition to offering more services than before, the firm does not have to support a large corporate overhead. Thus savings and cost efficiencies are passed on to clients, creating a better value proposition.

James Jiao is the Managing Partner of TransAtlantic Investment Partners LLC. 30+ Years in Private Banking and Wealth Management Services. Started his career at Deutsche Bank in Germany. Portfolio Manager and Private Banking Group Manager in Spain and USA before joining Merrill Lynch in Miami, Florida in 1997. International Wealth Management Advisor, Producing Branch and Regional Sales Manager before assuming regional management responsibility as the Southwest International Complex Director in 2009, based in San Diego with offices in CA, AZ and TX. Retired from Merrill Lynch in 2015. Accreditations include Certified Investment Management Analyst and Trust & Estate Professional. Diplom-Kaufmann (German MBA Equiv.) from University of Mannheim and M.A. Economics Western lllinois University. Founded TransAtlantic Investment Partners originally as a Multi-Family Office. Holds FINRA Series 3, 7, 9, 10, 24, 63, 65, registrations and CA Insurance License.
